5 Quick New Year Computer Tips

1.  Clean Out Old Emails – They clutter up your computer – and may cause it to fail.

2.  Clean Your Computer – All that dust that accumulates on the bottom and back of a computer is TROUBLE - Vacuum it!

3.  Check Your Speed - Is your computer acting sluggish – or loading slowly?  It’s time for a tune-up if it is!    

4.  Back Up, Back Up, Back Up – Backups for your hard drive (which permanently stores all your computer data) have come way down in price and way up in performance.  Do you have one?

5.  Computers Need Flu Shots Too – Make sure your antivirus software is up to date and running smoothly.

HIGHLIGHTS:  Thanksgiving Turkey Drive and Gala

We set up 3 Giant Tents.  More than 200 people showed up. Two huge bins of frozen turkeys were collected for FoodShare.  More than $ 1600 in cash, as well.  For our second annual drive - we more than doubled the donations.  There was exquisite food, great wines and beverages, excellent raffle prizes, and lots of fun.  Arthur Murray put on a little mini-dance lesson - and that got everybody up and dancing as well.  Next year will be the Thursday before Thanksgiving as well!
