December, 2007
The last couple of days have ensured we'll have a "White Christmas" this year, and we'd like to wish you and your family the very best of this 2007 Holiday Season.
Happy Holidays from We Care Computers!
If Santa delivers you a gold mine of new tech stuff this holiday, and you find that trying to install it is not making your holiday "happy", please give us a call. We can help you integrate new routers, TV/Computer hookups, peripherals, cameras, scanners, and more. Remember, there is NEVER a charge for your phone call!
This month, our Tech Tip explores the benefits of cleaning out your email, always a great idea to keep your computer from doing the crash dance.
And, if Santa didn't bring you the computer you wanted, and you're thinking about a new machine for the New Year, take advantage of our new "Hassle Free New Computer Purchase Program".
The very best to all during this special Holiday time,
Avi & Tahl

PS. If you've ever wanted to learn about Search Engine Marketing, or "social media", there's a special SEMNE event being held the evening of January 9th at the Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, CT. You're invited, and details are included in this email.
TIP OF THE MONTH: CLEAN OUT YOUR EMAIL DURING THE HOLIDAY LULL
The Holiday Season is supposed to be stress free (good luck!) and so should the rest of the year!
A crashing computer does not contribute to positive mental health!
Many folks may find some extra free time over the Holidays, and there's no better way to start the New Year than with a clean, well organized email program . Take a little time and clean out the Deleted, Sent, and Inbox files, and you'll dramatically reduce your chances of a computer crash.
Here's how to do it:
1. Create a New Folder on the left side of your email browser and name it "2007 SENT". Move all of your "sent" messages into it. Now you've got a permanent record of them but it won't affect your computer's performance.
2. You can save your DELETED Files in the same manner, OR just go in and trash them. You can even use the "Edit, Select All" tab on the top of your email program to do it quickly. Don't be shocked at how many there are. Just get rid of them!
3. Tune up your INBOX, getting rid of junk mail or move it to folders you create on the left hand side.
Please try to start the New Year with a clean email program! It's easy, doesn't cost anything, and it just might save you a lot of stress in 2008!
WCC's New "HASSLE FREE" NEW COMPUTER PURCHASE PROGRAM
If Santa did not deliver your new computer or laptop, and you're thinking about a new one for 2008, we've just introduced a new "buying" service for new computers. We'll get you a more powerful machine for less money than you'll spend at the local big box store and even on the internet. Why are we doing this?
Over the years, many of our customers and friends have asked us for advice on shopping for a new computer. They've been frustrated with the offerings and sales tactics at big electronic stores and confused by internet suppliers. We completely understand. Sometimes we are too!
As an example, can you understand the following sentence?
“2.4 GHz, 1066FSB, 8 MB L2 cache , 3GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz, 4 DIMMs”
(this is a listing from a very popular internet computer site)
If you can, you can probably shop for a new computer by yourself. If you didn't understand it (and most people don't), then getting a new machine is going to be a "hassle". Sometimes, lots of hassles.
Our new "Hassle Free New Computer Purchase Program" is designed to not only help you select a computer, but also deliver it directly to your home or office. Here's how it works:
1. Call or Email We Care Computers, LLC. Tell us what you typically do with your computer, and cover any additional things you’d like your computer to do. We’ll talk with you, in easy to understand language, to get a feel for exactly what type of computer you need.
2. WCC will order, unpack, test, deliver, and install your new computer! Yes, we’ll order it, ship it to our office, and unpack it. Then we’ll configure all of the software, optimize all settings, update all of the programs, and fully test the computer before delivering and installing it at your home or office.
3. Your computer will be configured to run optimally with only the software you need. We eliminate trial offers, advertising, and junk programs. Your WCC custom computer is delivered “clean”.
4. You will have a choice on the Operating System. We’ll explain the benefits (and problems) with VISTA, the new Microsoft operating system. Typically, we will install the reliable Windows XP on your new computer so it will work with your current printer, cameras, scanners, and monitors. But you will get the VISTA software and license if you wish to upgrade in the future.
5. On-Site Installation is included. We can hook your new computer up to a network, transfer files from an older computer, setup a backup system, make sure it works with all your devices (like printers) and/or show you anything you want to know about it.
6. The price is right. Plus, you will save a significant amount of time and get the right machine while you save money.
7. Plus, No Hassles. From start to finish.
So, if you’d like a computer designed specifically for your home or office, delivered right to your door, with only the features you want, save some money, and eliminate the “hassles” in getting a new computer, give us a call or email to get started!
